Amazon Web Services (AWS) now offers full support for both Oracle and MySQL on the Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) platform. This session will discuss the overall architecture of AWS and EC2, what flavors of Oracle and MySQL are available from AWS, understanding and planning for the costs related to cloud computing and some of the implications of licensing real Oracle databases in the cloud.
